Abstract
Trioza fletcheri-minor (Psyllidae: Hemiptera), a serious pest of Terminalia arjuna breeds from April to December and has several over lapping generations. On hatching the nymphs enter the mesophyll tissue of the leaf and feed from that position throughout their immature stages. Nine insecticides were tried for the control of this pest during breeding and non breeding seasons. Spraying with Bidrin 0.1 % and dimethoate 0.2% during the non-breeding season proved to be effective in its control.
